how do I register?

To save your runs on map runner you'll first need to register an account. You can do this by going to www.map runner/register.

We've made the registration process as simple and short as possible so you don't have to waste any time and can get straight to creating your runs. We only require 3 pieces of information from you in order to create your account; a username for yourself (this will be displayed with all your runs), your email address and a password to access your profile pages. Once you have sucessfully completed the registratation page you'll then be able to log in to your map runner homepage at the address www.map runner/runners/your-username/

how do I edit my profile?

We made our registration as simple and as quick as possible. If, however, you want to personalise your profile page you can edit you profile by clicking on the link in your profile area or by going to the page address like this: 'www.map runner/runners/your-username/edit'. You'll then be able to supply various other details about yourself like some 'about me' text, profile image and home postcode

how do I add a profile image?

Once in the edit profile section of your my map runner homepage (see above) you will be able to upload a profile image or 'avatar'. This will then be displayed with your runs for all other map runners to see. To upload a photo click on the 'browse' button in the user profile area. You will then have to locate your profile image on your computer's hard drive. Please make sure that the file is not larger than 2mb in size otherwise the image upload will not be successful. Once you've selected your profile image and clicked on 'open' the image upload and resize will commence automatically. Once this is completed your new profile image will be displayed to you on the same page. To commit the changes to your profile click on the 'save' button at the bottom of the page.
